Rail Power Solutions (RPS) was responsible for delivering the multidisciplinary electrical design for the upgrade of Fratton Depot, encompassing High Voltage (HV), DC traction power and Electrical Track Equipment (ETE) requirements. The project required careful consideration of the existing depot infrastructure and operational constraints to provide an enhanced traction power arrangement while maintaining safe and effective railway operations. RPS have been appointed to provide specialist DC Traction power design services, working with Arup and VolkerFitzpatrick to develop the detailed electrical design for the new maintenance facility building. The project forms part of the wider Piccadilly Line Upgrade programme and supports the introduction and maintenance of the new 24TS fleet, providing the electrical infrastructure required for the future operation of the upgraded Cockfosters Depot.

William took part in a White Collar Boxing event to raise money for Mind, a company providing support, advice and advocacy for people experiencing mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions. RPS and friends took upon the challenge of completing the National 3 Peak challenge climbing the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours, raising money for the Alzheimer's Society. Starting at Ben Nevis, then heading to Scaffel Pike and finally finishing on the top of Snowden. Unfortunately the team couldn't attempt Snowden due to dangerous weather but are ready to attempt the challenge again!

Simon and William had great success running the Great North Run. With your support, encouragement and donations, we managed to raise £1,120 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. A very big thank you from us all at Rail Power Solutions.
